DCI Says Tracking Killer Cop Is Hard Because She No Longer Uses Her phone.

Police now say tracking killer police officer Caroline Kangogo is hard as she no longer uses her known phone.

The officers said they will now look for her physically in hotels, lodges and any other place suspected she might be hiding in.

For more than a week now, Kangogo, accused of killing two men, is still on the loose after managing to escape several police dragnets.

To boost and intensify the search the rogue police officer described as armed and dangerous, DCI has mobilised a multi-agency team from elite units in the force.

The team comprises the police, military and those from the investigations agency. Being unreachable on phone, the unit will physically conduct surveillance on major roads including Nairobi-Nakuru-Eldoret and Nairobi to Mombasa.

The team will also conduct a search in hotels, lodges and other places thought the fugitive could be hiding.

SUBJECT: SHOOTING INCIDENT REPORT:Ref my OB 26/8/7/2021 at 2130hrs. It was reported by one Ken Muyundo of telephone number 0722654788 and a licenced firearm holder s/no. 003804 that there has been a lady by the name Chemutai who has been persistently calling to meet him within kiminini market. The OCS arranged a team and laid a trap and the lady met with the reportee who fired a single shot to scare her and she was arrested and on interrogation, the lady alleged to have met the man and exchanged telephone numbers which prompted her to call him severally and she revealed her name as Phanice Chemutai Juma from kaboiywo village in kaptama location. On conducting a thorough search on the lady at the station, a wound was discovered at her lower left abdomen thus prompting the officers to take her to kitale county referral hospital for treatment. The pistol ceska mini s/no. C212983 belonging to the said Ken Muyundo with one magazine loaded with 10 rounds of 9 by 18mm and one spent cartridge have been retrieved and held as exhibit. Case PUI.

Detectives are looking for a female Police Officer who has gone berserk and is on a killing spree.

Corporal Caroline Kangogo, the suspect behind the killing of Police Constable John Ogweno, in Nakuru, has shot dead yet another man in cold blood.

The rogue officer who took off with Ogweno’s firearm a loaded ceska pistol, lured a man to Dedamax Hotel in Kimbo, Juja area at around 4pm yesterday. She later emerged from the room at around midnight and fled to an unknown destination, leaving the dead man’s body sprawled on the bed.

Detectives have established that she lured the man to the room and went ahead to pay for it, before savagely shooting him on the head at point-blank. She later told an attendant working at the guest house that she had gone to buy toothpaste, before making her escape.

The man’s lifeless body was discovered today morning. The suspect who is armed and dangerous has been on the run since early yesterday morning, after she killed constable John Ogweno, who was based in Nakuru.

We are cautioning members of the public especially men to be on the lookout for the rogue officer, who is luring men to her trap before killing them. Let nobody trust her or accommodate her since she is armed and dangerous.
