POLICE TERM CORPORAL CAROLINE KANGONGO AS ARMED AND DANGEROUS

Police are in pursuit of Corporal Caroline Kangogo, a prime suspect in the murder of Constable John Ogweno.

Constable Ogweno was found murdered earlier today inside his car at a car park at Kasarani Police Line in Nakuru County.

An alert signal says Cpl Kangogo has since fled and further describes her as armed and dangerous.

“A Ceska pistol serial number 94676 loaded with 15 rounds of 9 mm also went missing,” read part of the signal.

The signal requests all police divisions to be on the lookout and if traced recover the forearm and arrest her.

Sources say Cpl Kangogo was last seen with the deceased at Nakuru Police Mess at Dog Section in Section 58. It’s also believed the two were in a relationship.

A BODABODA RIDER ARRESTED IN KERICHO IN FAKE KIDNAP SCHEME.

Police in Kericho county have arrested a thirty six year old bodaboda rider from Kabusenduk village in Bureti sub county.This is due to a fake kidnap scheme crafted with an attempt to extort 100,000 shillings from his wife yesterday. 

According to the County Criminal Investigations Officer John Onyango said the man was arrested after the investigators found out his hiding place. It is said that the man was hiding at his friend’s house as he waited for his wife to send him the money. 
The suspect’s wife reported to the police the time she received a phone call from her husband informing her that he was kidnapped and that the kidnappers were demanding for 100,000 so that he may be released. 
The suspect is now detained at Bureti police station. The police are also calling upon the public to give information to the police on anyone suspected to be involved in such cases. 

Kidnapping cases in the country are on the rise and the police are asking parents to take care of their children as they as seen as the target from the recent kidnapping cases.
