A POLICE OFFICER KILLS HIS WIFE AND COMMIT SUICIDE BY USING HIS G3 RIFLE

Shooting incident Report. Reported by Cpl Ahmed Muhammad in charge Ganga police post through mobile phone that today at about 0400hrs he over heard gunshot running the air within his residential place. He alerted his fellow officers who immediately responded with an exception of one pc Edwin Muhula.The Nco was keen to establish the where about of the missing officer. He went to the post as he was on duty but missed him. He was then left with no option other than checking on him physically by knocking the door but there was no response.He then raised the station commander who then informed the sub county commander and immediately visited the scene in company of the DCI where it was established that the said officer had shot dead his wife whos name not yet established and also shot himself dead using his G3 rifle.
